Filters
Filters are part of the filtration system that maintains the state of cleanliness and balance in a pond. This very important supply is an absolute necessity if the pond houses some fish which depend upon the filtration system to continually work in order to survive. Since most ponds in gardens are usually man made, the habitat generally needs to be man made as well. Keeping several filters on hand will make sure that if your main filtration system stops working for some unanticipated reason, there is always a replacement one available to use.
Fish Food
Fish food is another pond item which needs to be always available. Although fish can live for a few days without food, especially in a pond that may have some plants in it, it is best to have regular supply in readiness at all times. It is especially important if the fish are used to being fed at certain times. Without food, most fish eat the plants and other living things in the pond instead.
